This blog is my own creation, not an organ of Command Post Games, the Publisher of the Pub Battles system.

You might ask what I hope to gain by starting this blog.

I want Pub Battles to be successful. The more successful it is, the more titles they will produce, and this is what I want.

I also enjoy talking about it, and sharing experiences. I look forward to hearing from those who visit my blog and YouTube channel.

I am a lead playtester. This means I know the system about as well as anyone. I can certainly answer any questions about the rules, as well as discuss the why behind the how.

I semi-retired at 47. I suffered a sever brain injury at 25. I have written 3 books about living with brain injury and have had a regular column in the Brain Injury Alliance of MN's quarterly mag since 1999. I received my BA in English with honors in 2014. I saw you mentioned that military organizations were using this game system as a teaching tool. I would also like to use this system (I own Gettysburg and Sharpsburg games) within my formation.

What are some contacts within the active duty community that use this as a teaching tool?

  Pub Battles is a two player game, but in training exercises it easily accommodates large groups with timed written orders, something gaming clubs could only dream of!
